“Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food.” – Hippocrates
The NTA’s philosophy centers on the idea that real health can be achieved through a holistic and individualized approach to nutrition and lifestyle. My mission is to promote health by providing nutritional education and connecting individuals who support diverse, global communities. We believe that many of modern society’s health problems result from weaknesses in the body’s physiological foundations brought on by poor nutrition. We are dedicated to helping individuals reverse the negative effects of the modern diet through nutritional therapy. Our foundational holistic approach focuses on the importance of properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole foods paired with a well-balanced lifestyle. We also honor the body’s innate intelligence and its incredible capacity to restore, regenerate, and correct itself – when given the tools and nutrients for doing so. Bio-individual nutrition based on solid foundations.
Teresa teaches the concept of bio-individuality, meaning that a “one size fits all” approach to nutrition does not exist. One of my goals is to help each client find the right types of whole foods that will restore balance and enhance their own body’s ability to heal. I teach the importance of following a properly prepared, nutrient-dense diet, rich in delicious whole foods, that are deeply nourishing and restore good health.
“ALONE WE CAN DO SO LITTLE, TOGETHER WE CAN DO SO MUCH.” –HELEN KELLER
Although doctors and other wellness-focused practitioners appreciate the importance of proper diet and nutritional supplementation, it’s often difficult for them to spend time conducting the proper evaluation and counseling necessary to support optimal healing. As a FNTP I can work alongside these practitioners either in-office or in private practice to support the doctors’ diagnosis and treatment plan.
